Playin' Is Fun!!

Hey Everybody,

I woke up this morning and was ready for action after a great night's sleep. Daddy thought I might like to play with my Fisher Price Dashboard for a while. Boy did I have a good time with it! I was spinnin' the paddles, rolling the rattle barrel, and flipping the airplane around.

Daddy says there are a lot more things to do with my dashboard, but those are the things I wanted to play with today! Maybe tomorrow I will want to play with some of the other stuff.

I really liked flipping the paddles! I did that a lot...

Hangin' Out

Hey Everybody,

I'm hangin' out in my swing playing with my keys in a neat striped-outfit that Grandma Marian and Pappa's next door neighbors Bob and Leann Davidson got for me a while back.

I had to grow some before the outfit would fit me right, but I'm growin' real fast! It fits a little loose right now, but thats good 'cause I'll get to wear it for a while before it gets too small.

I haven't met Mr. and Mrs. Davidson yet, but Mama says they are great people! I already like them 'cause they got me some cool clothes! I hope we meet soon...

I'm 15 Weeks Old Today

Hey Everybody,

I'm 15 Weeks Old Today!

Mama, Daddy and I went into my room today and started sorting through my 6 to 9 month clothes... I'm nowhere near 6 months old, but my 3-6 month clothes are starting to be too small. I'm almost outta onesies and its summertime. No fun! So we opened the box that says 6 to 9 month clothes and poof... Now I have a bunch more onesies and they fit me good.

My Doctor says that I'm taller than 95 percent of the kids my age. Daddy thinks thats cool. Mama seems to think its cool too, I'm just confused about all this clothing size stuff. If they are my clothes and they say 3 to 6 months, shouldn't they still fit me? I'm almost 4 months old and thats less than 6 months old, I think? This stuff is confusing, but at least I have great clothes!

I also got a cool Rainforest Jumperoo the other day. Check out the picture of me in it. So far, I've only been able to play in the one time. Mama says I need to do more of my tummy time workouts to get my neck muscles stronger, then I'll be ready for my Jumperoo!! Woohoo!!

Some Great New Stuff

Hey Everybody,

Grandma Carol and Grandpa Bill have been visiting for the last couple of weeks. They've been giving me all kinds of great new stuff that I really like!

They brought me Duplo Tables and Duplo Blocks for when I'm older, they brought me my blue elephant that I told you about before and tons of toys and clothes and other cool stuff. They got me this cool purple recliner too. I really like it. Its got room for me to grow into and its got room for my elephant too. He doesn't run away as much when we're in it.

Mama and Daddy say that we'll keep my bouncy chair up-stairs and my recliner downstairs and that it will be safer. After all, safety is a top priority, at least that's what Daddy keeps sayin'.

Me and My Blue Elephant

Hey Everybody!

Grandma Carol and Grandpa Bill gave me a really cool blue elephant with purple ears. I like him a lot. He makes a clicking noise when I move his legs, ears, and his head. I've been playin' with him a lot.

Sometimes, he runs away. Daddy says that I'll need to learn about something called "gravity" and that once I understand this "gravity" thing, he'll stop running away. For now, if my elephant runs away I just yell and scream and Mama or Daddy bring him back!

Dinner Out....

Hey Everybody,

Mama, Daddy and I went out to dinner tonight at the Royal Fork with Grandpa Bill and Grandma Carol.

We went to the same place last Monday too. They were my first two times going out to dinner. I had a good time, especially tonight. There were people that came up to visit me and tell me how handsome I am. They are good smart people! I liked them and what they were saying, so I smiled for them a lot!

Mama and Daddy say that I was a really good baby both times... When I got hungry, I was nice about telling them and didn't scream my head off. I did lots of other nice stuff on both trips, but thats the one thing that they both seemed to like most. Parents are kinda wierd! They like what I didn't do.... Wierd.

Grandma Marian sent Mama some pretty pink and purple flowers for Mama's Day! Thats really cool, but its not the best part.

The bestest part is that it has made Mama smile all day... and yesterday too.

I'm 3 Months Old Today

Hey Everybody!

I'm 3 Months Old today. You know how I'm always sayin' that adults count wierd... It's true, but they seem to know what they are doing. I'm 3 months old today and today is Mama's Day. Seems right.

Daddy tells me that in three more months I'll be 6 months old and that on that very day, Grandpa Bill has his birthday. I'll be 6 months old and he'll just be really old. I can't count that high... I'm not sure if anybody can count that high, but it will be a special day for both of us anyway!

Daddy got me a neat hooded towel with 'Winnie the Pooh' scenes on it where my head goes. I like it 'cause its warm and soft.

Daddy says I look like a 'Jedi Knight' in it... Can somebody please tell me what 'Star Wars' and 'Jedi Knights' are?

Hey Everybody!

My Grantie Lola made me this terrific quilt with lots of neat colors! It's warm and soft. I like it a lot. So far, I'm just layin' on it, but Mom and Dad keep talking about where to hang it up so I can look at the cool patterns more.

I'm 12 Weeks Old Today

Hey Everybody!

I'm 12 Weeks Old today.... I thought that meant that I'm 3 months old but that's not until Sunday, which is also Mother's Day.

Adults have funny thoughts about stuff. If you remember back, I was talking about how I have to wear 3-6 month clothing and at the time I was only 6 weeks old. (Here's a link to that BLOG post.)

Now, I have to learn this goofy calendar thing... I'm 12 weeks old. Thats supposed to be 3 months, but its not. I don't get it. Grown-ups count wierd!

But I'm OK with that, it means that I get presents twice, right??

I Went On Safari

Hey Everybody,

I woke-up early this morning and was excited to do something. Daddy suggested that I go Back On Safari in my Rainforest Gym.

I was talkin' to the giraffe, a monkey and even some butterflies. It was a lot of fun!!

I got to grab at and hold this big parrot with a spinning paddle thingy. I'm really starting to get the hang of grabbin' stuff, its fun!

My Grandmas Think Alike

Hey Everybody!

My Grandmas are both great!!

They both gave me entertainment centers for my crib! Both are high quality Fisher Price 'Soothers' and they do totally different things... One lights up to the music, the other has a waterfall and animals and stuff. I love them both!

 

I love my Grandmas too!!
