Just Clownin' Around

Hey Everybody!

Mama, Daddy, Grandpa Bill and Grandma Carol and I all went out to dinner this evening at the Royal Fork. I enjoyed my bottle and everybody else seemed to enjoy all the stuff they had.

But the really great thing about going out to dinner tonight was that Binky the Clown was there!! Binky is one cool clown!! He makes balloon guitars, ballon light sabers, balloon animals and all kinds of balloon stuff!!!

He touched my nose. I smiled. I think he might be a little jealous. His nose is really big and red. Daddy says that his nose might make funny noises too. Maybe he just likes noses, I don't know. What I do know is that Binky is one cool clown! All of the other kids in the restaurant seemed to think so too!

Thanks Binky for making me smile! Maybe you could come to my birthday party in February?!?! It will be my first one and I'd like all my friends to be there, including you. If you can make it, please call my Dad or comment at the bottom of this BLOG post.

Daddy's Birthday

Hey Everybody!

Daddy's Birthday was Saturday! He said that he had got the bestest present ever on February 10th... Me!

I did something really nice for Daddy for his birthday, I slept through the night! I went to sleep at 9:30 at night and slept through 'til after 5:00 in the morning. Daddy and Mama were thrilled! I enjoyed it too. Maybe I'll do that more often. We'll see.

Grandpa Bill and Grandma Carol are in town for Daddy's Birthday and Father's Day and of course to visit me.

Daddy and Grandpa Bill went to the races at the Skagit Speedway to see the last night of the "Dirt Cup". I don't know how they make a cup out of dirt, but I sure wouldn't want to drink out of it! Racers came from here, Canada and from as far away as Austrailia, but a local guy "Jayme Barnes" won the big race for the second time in a row!

Maybe I'll be a race car driver someday? I've got the uniform, so I'm all set! Vrrrrooooom! Vrrrrooooom!

See ya,

My Workout Video

Hey Everybody!

I was hangin' out in my Jungle with Daddy and Grandma Marian this morning. I was really getting in to my workout routine. I was lifting my head real high.

This week, I'm working on learning how to crawl. Its tricky! I kick my legs real fast and I lift my head real high. Daddy says that I need to use my arms and hands too. Wow this is tricky, but I've decided to do it so I'm gonna do it! You just watch, I'm gonna do it!

Enjoy the video of me workin' out!

My Doctor Says That I'm "Perfect"

Hey Everybody!

I have a great Doctor! I recently went in for my 4 month "well baby" visit and they measured me, poked me and then stabbed me twice and shoved some yucky stuff in my mouth. Not exactly what I'd call a good time!

However, after all of that stuff he declared me "perfect". He may have done a bunch of stuff I didn't like to help him figure out that I'm perfect, but he came got the right answer. Sometimes it sems like people can be a little slow...

Anyway, as of 4 months and 2 days old, I am 27 inches tall and I weigh 16 pounds 9 ounces. That puts me around the 97th percentile for height. I am taller than 97% of boys my age! Cool, huh?

Jumperooooooooooooo!

Hey Everybody!

I was playin' in my Jumperooooooo today. My feet touch the floor now, so it is a lot more fun... I can make it bounce up and down. The animals talk to me. The music plays. I like playin' in my Rainforest Jumperoo!

Be sure to watch the video of me in action!

Tummy Time Workout

Hey Everybody,

Daddy took a picture of me doing one of my daily Tummy Time Workouts. I'm lifting my head more and more for longer times. I'm gettin' real strong!

You may notice that I'm in my Seattle Mariners uniform for my workout. I don't always wear it for my workouts, but it is a good motivator so I wear it a lot!

Daddy says that the Mariners have lost as many games as they've won this year. They have 30 wins and 30 losses. Daddy says that they really need to workout as hard as I do if they are going to go anywhere...... Where do they want to go?

Play hard!

Did Somebody Say Steak?

Hey Everybody,

I heard some talkin' from Mama and Daddy about a steak dinner tonight. I'm all set! I tried out my high chair today and I like it. It has cool bears and a big table. I've never had a steak before, but I'm ready to try new things!

Mama says that I'll get mine tomorrow in my Mama's Milk. That'll do.... For now...

Gotta go... Its nap time!

Clickety-Clack! Clickety-Clack! Woohoo!

Hey Everybody,

Daddy and I were playin' with my Clickety-Clack toy earlier today. I really like this toy, it does all kinds of stuff! It folds, it straightens, stuff moves around on it, it has a mirror and it even folds into a pyramid! I like it a lot.

Grandma Carol got it for me. I like her a lot too! She takes good care of me and gets me all kinds of great stuff!

Enjoy the video!!

Bumbo! Bumbo! Bumbo! I Love It!

Hey Everybody!

I got to use my Bumbo Seat today... All by myself, with nobody supporting my head!

Mama and Daddy were all smiles. I'm not sure what the big deal was, but I smiled back anyway. I've been workin' out for weeks doing tummy time and lifting my head and stuff. I'm getting real strong!

I really like my Bumbo Seats.... I have a Blue one down-stairs and a purple one up-stairs. Thanks Grandma Carol. I really, really like them both. Sitting up makes me feel like a big kid!

I'm playing hard and getting strong!

Travelin' The World...

Hey Everybody,

I took my first trip outside of Skagit County today. We went to the big city - Seattle.

Its kinda wierd down there. They have all these lanes on the road, but they are filled with cars that don't seem to go anywhere.

I was a very good baby for the whole trip! Mama fed me right before we left and we got to the store before my diaper really needed changing. It gets wet, a lot.

I got to cruise in my stroller outside. I'm glad my stroller has shock absorbers 'cause the roads down there are bumpy! I met several more people who all told me that I'm beautiful or handsome, so I smiled for them. That seems to make people happy!!

I'm glad Daddy's car has Air-Conditioning, 'cause it was hot.

See ya,
-Steve
