Its A Sad Sad Day

Hey Everybody,


Mama and Daddy say that we have to say bye-bye to my Bouncy Chair, very sad.

I've enjoyed my Bouncy Chair since I was only 4 days old. Just because I sat up in my Bouncy Chair and tried to climb out of it last night, they say that we'll need to say bye-bye. Wow!


The good part about this is that I'm getting stronger and more mobile every day. I'm rolling over and over from my belly to my back and from my back to my belly in both directions at much as I want... I just decide to go that way and away I go... Its great! I still haven't figured out how to crawl yet, but I'm getting closer to figureing out how to do it every day! I'm practicing a lot!


Saying bye-bye to my bouncy chair is really sad, but we're saying hello to a lot of other stuff to play with and to do.

Playin' With Jester and His Ball

Hey Everybody,

My dog Jester and I hang out a lot. He's my best friend! He watches over me a lot to make sure that I'm safe.

He has this purple ball called "Hollee Mollee", I like it a lot. When I see it, I usually go after it 'cause I want it.... Jester messes with me 'cause he knows I want it.... He puts it on the floor near me, but out of reach. But as soon as I roll toward it to get it, he picks it up and moves it over. It can be frustrating, but some day I'll catch up to it. Maybe I'll do it when he's not looking, but thats hard 'cause it seems like he's always looking.... Even when he's sleeping!

Learning to Sit-Up is Tricky!

Learning to sit-up is tricky!

I've been working on it for a while now, but just when I think I've got it I fall over again... When I'm focusing real hard on sitting, I can do it!! But when I want to do something else too, poof... Over I go...

I'll get it, you'll see!

I Drove A Formula 1 Race Car!

Hey Everybody,

Vroom!! Vroom!! I got to drive a real Formula 1 Race Car today! These cars can go 200 miles per hour. Some airplanes don't go that fast! I had a good time, maybe I'll be a race car driver when I grow up!

I enjoyed driving the car thanks to Andrew at Speedware Motorsports. Andrew is also the nice man who brought me my new Race Car Seat for Daddy's car!

My new race car seat is a Recaro Signo G2 - Carbon. A funny name, but it is a really good car seat. Recaro makes the seats for a lot of the race cars. My seat has a 5 point harness, just like the race car seats and the seats on the Space Shuttle! It also has "head wings". If somebody crashes into the side of Daddy's car, these wings will keep my head from getting all messed up. I don't really know what that means, but Daddy says it's important. I like it 'cause it's soft and the straps don't pinch me.

My Bouncy Chair Keeps Shrinking

Hey Everybody!

Mama and Daddy keep telling me to enjoy my bouncy chair "while I can".

It keeps getting smaller around me. I really like it and I've used it since I was just a few days old, but its fitting kinda wierd these days. My legs are hanging off the bottom almost to my knees. Oh well, the bouncy chair is my friend and I'm gonna keep playin'...

I'm 6 Months Old

Hey Everybody,

I'm 6 months old..... Today!

I'm celebrating my half birthday along with Grandpa Bill who has his full birthday today. Happy Birthday Grandpa Bill.

I went to the doctor to have my 6 month checkup....
- I weigh 19 lbs, 12 ounces.
- I'm also 28 and 3/4 inches tall.
- My head is 18 and 1/4 inches around.

My doctor says that I'm "perfect". Also that I'm huge! I am taller than 98% of kids my age!

I think thats neat.

I Really Like Apple!!

Hey Everybody!

Wow, was that good! Mama and Daddy made me this stuff they call "Apple".

Mama bought these things called "organic apples" at the Mt. Vernon Food Co-Op and chopped 'em up and cooked 'em with some water. Then they put it all into the "Magic Bullet" and Mr. Bullet spun 'em real fast and made 'em all smooth. - Smoother even than my cereal.

It smelled really good, but boy did it taste great! I had to convince Mama that I'm a good boy and that I should get a little more. She gave-in to my cute smile and gave me a little more.

Wow, is it good! If you've never had apple before, you should try it. It's good stuff.

Sitting-Up Is Good For Playin'

Hey Everybody,

Last night, Mama and Daddy helped me sit-up so I could play with my rocker-ball thingy. When I roll it around, it makes music... Kinda. Anyway, I like it.

When I'm sitting, it is easier to play with a lot of stuff, like my rocker-ball thingy and my busy boxes. I'm gonna have to do more of this sitting thing. Its tricky though... When I reach out for something, sometimes I fall over and I need a little help from Mama or Daddy to get back up. Someday I'm gonna sit-up all by mysel! You'll see. But for now, I still need a little help with it from time to time.

Play hard, but play nice!

I Got Some Great New Clothes

Hey Everybody!

Daddy sold a house to some great people, Randy and Kathy. They just got to move in last week. They were sooooo happy with whatever Daddy did for them that they bought stuff for me. I think thats awesome!! They got me my new friend "Dino" and the cool Overalls and the stylin' Polo Shirt Style Onesie I'm wearing. They also got me a shirt for that I get to wear in a few months. All fantastic stuff. I love it, especially "Dino". We've been playing in my Jungle and having a great time.

Thank you Randy and Kathy for the great stuff! I love all of it!

I Was Sitting and Playing!

Hey Everybody,

I had a lot of fun in my crib this morning! I was laughing and playing and rolling onto my tummy. Then Mama helped me sit-up in front of my "busy box"! Once I was there, I played and played with the dials, buttons, knobs and switches until I got kinda tired, then we went down and had lunch. (What happened at lunch is going to be another BLOG posting later today. Stay tuned!)

Something New Today

Hey Everybody,

Something new today... I've always had my meals in a bottle. Now, Mama and Daddy tell me that I have to learn to eat with a spoon. Its hard. Its messy, but I like the messy part.

I ate "cereal" today in the spoon. Cereal tastes funny and it feels wierd. I like Mama's Milk better, but Mama and Daddy say that I need this stuff too so I can grow up to be big and strong.

Daddy took some pictures of me. He says that they are both cute and funny. I hope you like 'em.
