Working Out

Hey Everybody,

I was learning about moving stuff today... Did you know that things on wheels move easier than stuff that's not on wheels? Daddy sys it has something to do with "friction", whatever that is.

Anyway, I was getting some excersize using my high chair. Its on wheels, so moving it back and forth was still work, but it much easier than if it wasn't on wheels!

I Got Stabbed... with Flu Shots.

Hey Everybody!

Mama, Daddy, and I went to my pediatrician's office Saturday morning. That was all well and good until they took me in the back.... When we went in the back, the nurse stabbed me once in each leg. It hurt both times, but I was a brave boy and didn't cry! I kicked a lot because I didn't like it at all, but I didn't cry!

I got a "flu" shot and some alphabet and numbers thing "H1N1" I think they called it.... I think that the second shot is supposed to teach me the alphabet or something. I don't really understand that one very well, but Mama and Daddy seem to think it is a good idea and thats good enough for me!

Play hard and when they talk about "shots", run real fast the other way!

I'm Working on Standing!!

Hey Everybody!

I'm learning how to stand up all by myself. Mama and Daddy seem to want me to focus more on balancing before I stand on my own, but its all good...

The way I see it, once I'm standing I can hold onto stuff until I can figure out how to balance better. How can I learn how to balance while standing if I can't get into a standing position? Daddy does help me into a stand quite a bit, but not as much as I want to practice. - I always want to practice, at least when I'm not eating or sleeping.

I'm gonna do it! I'm gonna stand and I'm gonna learn how to balance myself. You'll see!

I've gotta get back to practice. See ya!

Eveyone Should Have Work Clothes

Hey Eveybody,

I decided that I should do some work today, so I put on my overalls and flannel shirt. I worked on learning more about my shape sorter which helps me seperate square from triangular, and circular shapes.

I'm also working on learning how to stand up. Standing is really hard! I can climb-up on stuff into a stand. But, once I'm standing if I'm not holding on to something solid I fall over and bonk myself on something. Bonking hurts, I don't like it!

Anyway, I enjoyed my work day in my Clifford the Big Red Dog overalls!

Commando Crawlin'

Hey Everybody!

I've been practicing my crawlin' for a while now and I've got it down now. I do it 2 ways. The first is with my belly on the floor. Daddy calls it "Commando Crawling"! The second is with my chest up off the floor crawling on my hands and knees. Mama seems to like this style better, but both are good with me.

Today I was crawlin' real fast, but Daddy was quick with the camera and made a video of me crawlin'. Check it out!

I'm 8 Months Old

Hey Everybody,

I'm 8 months old today! Mama says that is two-thirds of a year... I've said it before and I'm saying it again people count wierd. Two and Three don't make Eight. How does that work in people's heads? I don't get it... I do know that I'm eight months old and I think thats cool.

I'm going back to eating my Cheerios now, they aren't confusing. They're real good!

Yippie Kai Yay!!

Hey Everybody!

Yippie Kai Yay! Ride 'em cowboy! I took a little ride on Eeyore today. He was pretty cooperative, but he did try to throw me a couple times. I'm sure glad Daddy was there to catch me. Falling from all the way up on Eeyore could really hurt.

I Can Sit-Up All By My-Self

Hey Everybody!

I can sit-up all by myself! I've been working on this for a couple weeks now, but I've finally got it good enough that I can do it when I want to!

To sit up, I get up on my hands and knees and then I just keep scooting backwards until I roll up into a sitting position. It's great!
